About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate and coach one or more Scrum teams within the Applications & Development function
Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies across Applications & Development teams
Support business-as-usual delivery and change initiatives
Support Product Owners and delivery leads in prioritising, refining and managing backlogs
Coach Scrum teams to adopt and improve agile practices
Liaise with technical teams, Product Owners, Architecture, Business Change and PMO
Support change, release and governance processes across the software development lifecycle
Challenge requirements, delivery plans and technical solutions to ensure they are achievable and aligned with standards
Develop understanding of applications, platforms, integrations and roadmaps
Maintain agile ceremonies and delivery cadence
Create and maintain delivery metrics, dashboards and reporting
Lead daily scrums and promote transparency around progress, risks and blockers
Build collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 2 years’ demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile delivery role
Experience supporting delivery of complex technical or service-based solutions
Experience leading and supporting high-performing scrum teams
Experience introducing or improving agile maturity within an organisation
Experience with backlog management and business requirements prioritisation techniques
Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles and frameworks
Experience with delivery metrics, reporting and visualisation of progress and outcomes
Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
Stakeholder engagement and communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with case management systems or low-code platforms, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar, beneficial
Experience with Azure Services, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL beneficial
Ability to produce high-quality delivery and technical artefacts demonstrating business value
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to assess, coach and mentor teams and individuals
Strong relationship-building skills
Ability to troubleshoot effectively and apply agile principles pragmatically
Confidence interacting with senior leaders and subject matter experts
