About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent active and white-label ETF launches
  • Establish project plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths
  • Translate agreed ETF propositions into detailed implementation and launch plans
  • Coordinate Investment, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Finance, Distribution, Marketing and Capital Markets workstreams
  • Manage external providers including the administrator, custodian, depositary and transfer agent
  • Establish and track launch-readiness criteria before go-live
  • Identify, manage and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies and decisions
  • Maintain the integrated project plan, RAID log, action tracker and launch documentation
  • Ensure accurate product data across internal and external platforms
  • Coordinate post-launch activities, early-life monitoring, outstanding deliverables and transition into business-as-usual product management
  • Manage ongoing product-management initiatives, including share-class launches, sub-fund changes, registrations, mergers and liquidations
  • Drive continuous-improvement reviews and initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in asset management, ETF operations and participants, fund implementation, fund launches and/or investment operations
  • Demonstrable project management experience delivering complex investment products
  • Strong cross-functional project management, change management and process improvement experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively
  • Ability to self-direct, work independently and proactively
  • Highly structured and methodical execution
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to systematically remove ambiguity from projects and processes
  • Strong understanding of the UCITS/ETF operating model and regulatory and operational requirements surrounding active ETF launches
  • Experience coordinating multiple senior stakeholders across a matrix organization
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end fund lifecycle
  • Experience working with external fund-service providers
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-pressure launches
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively against fixed regulatory and market-launch deadlines
