About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a twelve-to-twenty-four-month developmental rotation program supporting ADI technologies across automotive markets
  • Gain exposure to ADI’s broad technology portfolio before focusing on high-speed video and sensor data transport
  • Build customer engagement skills and business acumen through a progressive curriculum
  • Assist in evaluating and designing automotive connectivity systems for camera, display, radar, and embedded processing platforms
  • Understand and communicate customer technical requirements and market trends in emerging automotive technologies
  • Train colleagues and customers on ADI technologies, products, and best practices
  • Contribute to internal product development strategy and product definitions
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering and management teams
  • Cultivate relationships with ADI engineering, marketing, and sales teams
  • Analyze, design, and debug electronic circuits, schematics, and layouts
  • Develop prototypes including hardware and software
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Relocate to Southeastern Michigan after completing the rotational program
  • Integrate into the worldwide sales team and deploy to the target market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSEE or equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of electronic schematics, layout, and components required
  • Foundation of software fundamentals required
  • Experience debugging hardware and software using basic lab equipment required
  • Knowledge and understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols required
  • Relocation to Southeastern Michigan at completion of the rotational program required
  • Familiarity with high-speed serial communication such as Ethernet, MIPI, SerDes, or related interfaces
  • Experience with lab measurement and soldering equipment
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Solid communication skills along with comfort presenting technical topics
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (~10% of the time)
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Self-motivation and capability to work autonomously
  • Agility and desire for continuous learning
  • Applicants other than US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals may have to undergo export licensing review
