About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate business system requirements into design specifications, system configurations, and solutions for purchased and home-grown applications
- Maintain, sustain, upgrade, and enhance Demand Planning Solutions, including BlueYonder Demand Planning
- Apply supply chain demand forecasting, manufacturing planning, and inventory planning solutions across multiple business areas
- Ensure integration between BlueYonder Demand Planning and upstream/downstream systems, including data warehouses, databases, reporting, and applications
- Provide instructions and specifications to development teams for solutions requiring code work
- Assist with unit testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Work with third-party vendors and contractors on major projects
- Oversee project-related expenses and budgets
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate with technical teams to determine technical and business needs
- Organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines
- Make decisions and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Provide leadership within the group and broader IT organization
- Coach and mentor individual contributors on technologies and business processes
- Serve as technical solutions lead on large transformational SCM projects
- Direct functional and technical resources and align work efforts with individuals
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving SAP, order management, channel management, commerce, scheduling, supply chain planning, reporting, and finance
- Work with iterative Agile, Waterfall, and Test-Driven Development methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/MS degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or an IT/SCM related subject
- 10+ years of experience in IT working with business systems
- 5+ years of implementing/integrating JDA (BlueYonder) Demand Forecasting / CDP / Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP) / Order Promising (OP)
- Expert experience designing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain planning solutions
- Data-driven decision-making ability
- Ability to communicate abstract and complex interactions of systems, processes, and people
- Ability to establish effective working relationships across organizational levels
- Ability to influence team members toward action and commitment
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to pivot quickly when strategies and plans change
