About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform CAD design and develop deliverables for civil, environmental, and structural engineering projects
- Work directly with engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects
- Prepare construction plan drawings and report figures
- Perform civil design including detailed grading, earthwork volumes, and pipeline layouts
- Support mentoring and training of other team members and new staff
- Monitor quality control on assigned tasks
- Participate in client-needs analyses
- Independently carry out complex or novel assignments requiring development of new or improved techniques and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of relevant work experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proficient with managing redline edits with Bluebeam and/or Acrobat
- Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting
- Experience with MicroStation and ArcGIS a plus
- Experience with structural detailing and design a plus
- Satisfactory results of a comprehensive background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-orientated and committed team player
