About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day custody operations for institutional clients
- Review client transactions and instructions in a timely, risk-conscious manner
- Provide attentive client care and advocate for clients internally in partnership with Client Experience teams
- Develop and execute operational processes and perform transaction reviews and approvals
- Build familiarity with Anchorage Digital’s products, services, product features, and supported cryptocurrencies
- Collaborate with Client Experience, Sales, Compliance, and Product on operational solutions for complex client requests
- Create internal presentations and reporting, participate in process-enhancement projects, and support new operational workflows
- Identify and escalate potential client and organizational risks to leadership
- Participate in regular evening and weekend on-call rotations
- Help develop and continuously refine team processes and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of professional experience in financial services and/or the digital assets industry
- Experience supporting institutional client operations within financial services or another heavily regulated industry
- Familiarity with US Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements
- Working understanding of how institutional clients such as VCs, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and PE firms operate in the crypto custody space
- Understanding of traditional financial services, products, and strategies
- Basic understanding of the crypto industry landscape, tokens/protocols, and operational verticals such as staking and governance
- Ability to quickly navigate and learn software systems and tools such as Salesforce, Jira, and Looker
- Ability to execute end-to-end client operations processing, including receiving, verifying, and reviewing transactions accurately and timely
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly as business strategies, products, and tasks evolve
- Ability to identify and escalate potential client and organizational risks
- Experience supporting clients across chat, text, telephone, email, and video conferencing
- Foundational knowledge of or strong interest in blockchain, crypto-economics, and security engineering
- Experience using TRM, Notabene, or Jira is a bonus, not a requirement
