About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the architectural vision and engineering standards across the full modern web stack
  • Craft performant, accessible and responsive user interfaces
  • Architect distributed web applications using Micro Frontends, Vite Module Federation and Nx monorepos
  • Design and build robust API/BFF layers and interface with legacy or on-premises systems
  • Apply end-to-end type safety, runtime schema validation and contract-driven development across frontend and backend services
  • Lead unit, integration and end-to-end testing
  • Maintain developer experience and code quality standards
  • Implement progressive rollouts, targeted experimentation and runtime configuration
  • Own full-stack observability and telemetry across client-side and backend systems
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including automated deployment pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep hands-on expertise with React 19, Node.Js and TypeScript
  • Proven track record architecting distributed web applications using Micro Frontends (MFE) and Vite Module Federation within scalable Nx monorepos managed via pnpm
  • Strong mastery of Tailwind CSS v4, React Router v7, Zustand v5 and TanStack Query v5
  • Extensive experience designing and building API/BFF layers using Node.js with Express 5, Hey API/OpenAPI, zod-to-openapi and Swagger UI
  • Experience interfacing with legacy or on-premises systems; exposure to PHP is advantageous
  • Expertise in end-to-end type safety, runtime schema validation and contract-driven development using Zod
  • Full-lifecycle testing experience across unit, integration and end-to-end layers using Vitest, Playwright and MSW v2
  • Experience with Oxlint, ESLint, Prettier and Husky
  • Practical experience with progressive rollout strategies, targeted experimentation and runtime configuration using LaunchDarkly
  • Experience with Grafana Faro, Pino, AWS CloudWatch and Grafana for observability and telemetry
  • Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, AWS services including ECS Fargate, ALB and API Gateway, and GitLab CI/CD deployment pipelines
  • Commitment to high-quality, accessible, responsive and maintainable software
