About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyse and translate business, information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints that achieve client business objectives
  • Provide solution architecture expertise to support clients in delivering digital objectives
  • Work with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to design optimal technology solutions
  • Identify and design dependencies with other enterprise systems
  • Manage and lead target designs, policies and standards
  • Maintain a stable, viable architecture and consistency of design across designated projects
  • Provide hands-on support alongside development teams for complex solutions and code migrations
  • Coach and develop AND Digital Product Developers across squads
  • Support clients in solving complex digital challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Broad understanding of enterprise, data, application and solution IT architecture layers for enterprise-level platforms
  • Track record of delivering end-to-end solution architecture for large and complex multi-channel digital projects
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure, SaaS and IaaS, cloud infrastructure and multiple programming languages
  • Experience with best-practice processes and frameworks such as TOGAF and architectural patterns/models
  • Experience in a consulting role
  • Confidence presenting, working and building relationships with clients and development teams at all levels of seniority
  • Good knowledge of open-source technologies in full-stack environments
  • Knowledge of code management, testing and deployment tools
  • Experience in a professional services business in a solution architecture role for leading corporate clients
  • Commercial awareness of software implementation costs, system ownership and impact of new technology in established organisations
  • Good experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery processes
  • Understanding of IT organisations, functions, roles and activities
  • Ability to produce high-quality, pragmatic, adaptable and outcome-focused work
  • Clear communication, collaboration, knowledge sharing and relationship-building skills
