About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the technical element of a way of working and process audit across technology teams
Work closely with Mobile, Loyalty and AI product squads to understand cross-team workflows
Map existing processes, handover points, dependencies and integration bottlenecks
Assess interactions between modern front-end products, legacy backend systems and middle-layer APIs
Conduct interviews and team-shadowing sessions with technical teams
Build relationships with developers, engineers and technical stakeholders to identify challenges and improvement opportunities
Provide technical insight and recommendations for audit and transformation strategy
Coach and support developers in improving ways of working

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep experience in modern TypeScript alongside enterprise Java ecosystems
Proven track record of stakeholder management, client engagement and technical consultancy
Understanding of modern cloud environments, RESTful APIs, integration patterns and complex platform migrations
Ability to produce high-quality work that delivers real value
Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems collaboratively
Strong expertise in relevant technical craft and willingness to keep learning
Clear communication and ability to build trust with clients and teammates
Pragmatic, adaptable and outcome-focused approach
Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
