About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Optimize manufacturing system performance using Lean process design techniques
  • Assess current and future capacity requirements using forecasts, value stream mapping, and capacity planning
  • Analyze data and evaluate operations to identify efficiency opportunities
  • Identify causes of process variation and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop and implement pull systems and parts presentation strategies
  • Assess and document current manufacturing processes
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and support decision-making through data analytics
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Mentor and train team members on Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Encourage adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve manufacturing capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Technology
  • 5-10 years of Industrial Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and drive change within an organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • No relocation assistance or sponsorship available for this position
