About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and business analytics for marketing planning, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Provide financial leadership and analytical support to the Marketing organization through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Build relationships with key business partners and support strategic business initiatives
  • Develop period-end financial insights to improve business performance and support leadership decision-making
  • Prepare analyses for annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, expense trends, outlooks, and statistical reporting
  • Complete period-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Advise finance and business partner leaders using marketing and financial metrics
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Partner with Sales, Digital, and Business Growth Teams on strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions
  • Prepare complex financial analyses and reports for Marketing management
  • Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting and financial controls
  • May provide coaching and direction to less experienced analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • 7+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or marketing finance support
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP and business intelligence systems
  • Ability to analyze complex data and business metrics, including marketing performance, expense management, forecasting, and financial results
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial insights to financial and non-financial audiences
  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to proactively identify improvement opportunities and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
