About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead internal communications and engagement across multiple facilities.
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies aligned with business objectives and site-level priorities.
  • Advise operations leadership on timely, relevant, and tailored communication approaches for frontline workers.
  • Oversee and optimize intranet, digital signage, SharePoint, and multimedia communication platforms.
  • Translate complex business and operational priorities into compelling narratives and strategic storytelling.
  • Interview employees and leaders to surface authentic stories highlighting employee experience, innovation, and impact.
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and cultural events.
  • Liaise between sites and corporate communications and engagement teams.
  • Support crisis and change communication planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, volunteers, internal stakeholders, site leadership, and administrative teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or retail environments.
  • Demonstrated strategic storytelling capabilities, including interviewing, writing, editing, and multimedia content creation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and internal communications platforms.
  • Experience with event planning, project management, and employee engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on execution and inclusive messaging.
