About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise clients on controlling and finance-related matters, both organizationally and substantively
Support projects from initial conceptualization through successful implementation
Collaborate with employees and senior management
Assume partial team responsibility, where applicable
Develop customized, sustainable solutions for Austrian clients across a wide range of industries
Maintain a regular on-site client presence, at least 2 days per week
Expand your network and support business development through regular attendance at renowned trade fairs and events
Key areas of expertise: customer and product profitability analysis, plant and operations management, functional management, group and business unit management, financial accounting, and risk & compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluent German and English skills
Willingness to travel at least 2 days per week, primarily within Austria and occasionally internationally
Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a related field
Expertise in finance and controlling topics, including accounting, risk management & compliance, group management, operational management, cost and profitability accounting, or treasury / cash management
At least 3 years of professional experience in finance and controlling
Relevant management consulting experience
Knowledge of project management and strong methodological skills, including analysis, facilitation, and decision-making
Ideally, experience in people leadership or project responsibility
