About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, manage, and continuously improve Angle Finance’s technical security controls
- Secure endpoint environments and improve vulnerability management outcomes
- Enhance security visibility and support organisational cyber resilience
- Manage and continuously improve endpoint security capability
- Administer and maintain EDR, MDR, and XDR endpoint protection technologies
- Own operational management and configuration of Tenable, SentinelOne, and other supporting security tooling
- Support investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents with the SOC
- Lead vulnerability management across infrastructure, endpoints, cloud services, and applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Security Engineer
- 7-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave
- Security-first mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience working in cyber security engineering, security operations, infrastructure, or related technology roles
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and endpoint management technologies
- Experience administering EDR/MDR/XDR platforms such as SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or equivalent
- Experience managing vulnerability management programs and remediation activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or relevant degree (highly desirable)
- Willingness to undertake work outside standard business hours when required
