About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain experience across Operational Technology, Metering, Operational Control Centre, and Planning & Scheduling
- Use operational technology and digital systems to support smarter decision making
- Analyse smart meter data to identify insights benefiting customers and operations
- Work alongside the 24/7 Operational Control Centre to coordinate responses to incidents and operational events
- Support Planning & Scheduling teams to deploy the right resources at the right time
- Contribute to projects improving resilience, efficiency, and customer service
- Explore how data, automation, and technology can transform operational performance
- Work with experienced professionals and take ownership of meaningful projects
- Develop a broad understanding of operational services underpinning water and water recycling services across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Obtained in the last 3 years or studying towards a minimum 2:2 in any degree discipline
- Must have graduated by September 2027 for the 2027 intake
- Naturally curious, ambitious, and ready to learn
- Enjoy solving problems and working collaboratively
- Excited about technology products and passionate about the water industry
- No prior industry experience required
- Flexibility to work across the Anglian Water Huntingdon area and potentially across the region and departments
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and bring fresh perspectives
