About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver warm, high-quality customer service
- Prepare food and beverages, including espresso coffee
- Operate the POS system and manage payments
- Keep the café tidy, welcoming, and ready for service from setup through clean-up
- Support events and activities at the villages
- Create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere for residents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Working with Children Check
- 6 months experience in food service or front of house experience
- Barista skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Food Handling Certificate preferred
- Hospitality and customer service experience preferred
- Commute within 20 minutes of the locations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred
- Kind, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn preferred
- Availability Thursday to Sunday, including nights, preferred
