About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of new veterinary clinic openings, relocations, mergers and closures across Central Europe
  • Own project plans, budgets, timelines, risks and governance from start to finish
  • Coordinate Operations, Property, IT, HR, Finance and Clinical teams
  • Translate global strategy into practical plans for local markets and regulatory requirements
  • Keep senior stakeholders informed through reporting, KPIs and recommendations
  • Identify consistent project-delivery methods and embed lessons learned across the PMO
  • Support investment decisions, financial modelling and cost-effective project delivery
  • Work across the full project lifecycle from investment appraisal and planning through implementation, operational readiness and post-project review
  • Coordinate complex cross-functional projects across multiple countries and markets
  • Report to the Senior PMO Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years' experience in project/programme management
  • Significant experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • At least 3 years' experience in healthcare, veterinary operations or another regulated, operationally complex environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance across multiple projects
  • Ability to understand and balance global strategy with local market requirements, including legal and regulatory considerations
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
  • Polish language skills are desirable
  • PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management qualification would be an advantage
  • Experience in veterinary, healthcare or clinical environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary legislation across multiple countries is preferred
