Deliver day-to-day activities of engagements, interacting with team members and client contacts
Aggregate, cleanse, and normalize disparate data sources
Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data
Create summaries, data visualizations, written analyses, and other presentations
Generate consistent and thorough project lifecycle documentation
Participate in internal and external team meetings
Manage time and tasks to meet internal and external deadlines
Maintain a professional image within the company and with external parties
Work collaboratively across Ankura’s multidisciplinary areas of expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or other analytical area
1+ years of experience using SQL and Python
Preferably additional experience in Tableau, Power BI, R, and/or cloud-based analytics platforms such as Databricks and BigQuery
Familiarity with database programming languages and applications, including SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and MySQL
Familiarity with programming and scripting languages, including Python, C#, VBA, and PHP
Familiarity with ETL software and data visualization tools, including SSIS, Pentaho Data Integration, Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire
Familiarity with eDiscovery tools, including Relativity and predictive coding applications
Strong interest or experience using technology to solve complex data problems
Ability to engage in team-oriented projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Advanced decision-making, problem-solving, and logic-based skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Ability to prepare high-quality work product under strict deadlines
Ability to interact confidently with senior team members
Excellent written and verbal communication, quantitative, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic, eagerness for continued development, and motivation to succeed
Creative and innovative thought process
Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
