Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with generating construction drawing plans and details, schematic and wiring diagrams, models, exhibits, and reports under direct supervision
Collaborate with experienced staff and internal stakeholders across multiple departments and geographies
Support project execution and company goals and business objectives
Work with other departments to improve overall execution and client experience
Explore innovative solutions, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve progress and efficiency
Participate in diverse engineering projects and services
Gain exposure to renewable energy projects, including solar and battery energy storage projects, and utility interconnections

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of CAD software for plans, sections, schematics, details, wiring, and BOM sheets
Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with others in remote, hybrid, or office environments
Ability to follow project schedules and budgets
Basic understanding of project financials
Ability to interpret internal, client, and industry procedures and standards
Attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and with team members
Ability to learn advanced modeling software suites
Associate degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited institution preferred
No degree required with CAD experience
EIT preferred
Spanish fluency is a bonus
Experienced electrical substation designer
