About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the strategic and technical leader driving the success of the civil engineering team
Deliver innovative civil engineering solutions for renewable energy projects
Shape long-term plans and mentor top talent
Ensure excellence across design, operations, and client engagement
Lead civil engineering design involving grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater management, and SWPP calculations and reports
Serve as civil engineering lead on multidisciplinary projects and interact directly with clients
Coordinate with hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and structural engineering teams
Develop technical solutions to support permitting and compliance needs for a diverse client base
Review and supervise calculations performed by others to ensure quality standards and stamp construction drawings and reports
Provide technical leadership for staff using Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, and grading features
Assign tasks to junior engineering staff and designers
Provide construction support to clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required
Professional Engineer required
Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D and HydroCAD
Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or battery storage is highly preferred
12+ years of experience
