  • Contribute to engineering projects and services involving solar, battery energy storage, and utility interconnections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering BS degree
  • Preference to Power specific programs
  • Professional Engineer License
  • 5+ years of experience in overhead transmission line design and engineering
  • Experience with line and structure spotting
  • Experience with route selection
  • Experience with structure design and analysis
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to complete transmission line projects
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD design software and the NESC
  • Ability to travel occasionally and hold a passport
  • Broad knowledge of transmission line design principles, industry standards, and codes
  • Ability to develop, follow, interpret, and apply internal, client, and industry procedures and standards to complex design situations
  • Ability to develop, review, and evaluate design alternatives based on experience, standards, and codes
  • Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Spanish fluency is a bonus, not required
