About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own security delivery across every Anthropic data center campus under construction from groundbreaking through handover
  • Deliver temporary site security, contractor vetting and access, installed-equipment protection, and construction-site coordination
  • Define and maintain security acceptance criteria for construction milestones and commissioning gates
  • Run or attend FAT/SAT, punch-list, and acceptance events and issue or withhold security sign-off
  • Verify operating-partner readiness, including staffing, guard force, SOPs, commissioned systems, monitoring, and contractual obligations
  • Own turnover packages including as-builts, test records, credentials, punch-list closure, and residual-risk registers
  • Rewrite construction-security requirements, delivery processes, and acceptance frameworks when they fail in practice
  • Represent security in design reviews, OAC meetings, and change management
  • Coordinate integrators, general contractors, and operator counterparts on installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Surface schedule and readiness risks with options to leadership and cross-functional partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Personally delivered physical security scope on new-build data center or comparable critical-infrastructure construction projects through design reviews, construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations
  • Experience running milestone- or commissioning-acceptance processes, including FAT/SAT, punch lists, turnover documentation, and formal sign-off
  • Experience holding an operator, landlord, or vendor accountable to contractual security obligations with evidence
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent construction sites and drive each toward handover
  • Ability to author requirements, standards, and process documents and revise them when needed
  • Ability to influence general contractors, integrators, operators, and internal partners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Required field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
  • CPP or PSP certification or commissioning credentials preferred
  • Hyperscaler or major colocation new-build delivery experience preferred
  • Experience on both sides of an operator/tenant relationship preferred
  • Construction management or owner's-representative background preferred
  • Experience in regulated or high-assurance environments preferred
