About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead AI innovation projects from ideation through implementation to live operations
Create roadmaps, set priorities, and align stakeholders
Translate business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria
Quickly build functional prototypes and use AI tools hands-on
Integrate applications into existing systems and data flows
Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms, including containers, CI/CD, and monitoring
Plan pilot phases with key users
Define test cases and success metrics, and evaluate feedback
Analyze processes and design automated workflows
Decide when decisions should be made by AI and when human judgment is required
Enable colleagues and business departments to use AI tools in their day-to-day work

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, data engineering, or a technical analysis role
Proficiency in at least one commonly used programming language
SQL and experience with REST APIs
Ability to read OpenAPI specifications and integrate external solutions
Experience with generative AI, such as large language models, and automation
Experience with workflow, low-code, or RPA platforms
Agile methodologies and requirements engineering
Willingness to develop further toward innovation management and project coordination
Ability to explain technical topics clearly and enthusiasm for working closely with business departments
Good German and English skills (minimum B2 level)
A plus: experience with agentic software development
