About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models and self-service reporting tools supporting commercial decision-making
- Analyse customer, contract and financial performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and value-enhancing initiatives
- Source, interpret and connect information from multiple internal and external datasets, industry intelligence, market research and news sources
- Monitor customer financial performance and credit-related metrics to support risk monitoring and commercial discussions
- Support budgeting, forecasting and revenue performance tracking through analysis and reporting
- Translate complex data and analysis into practical insights and recommendations for diverse stakeholders
- Support customer retention, revenue growth and commercial decision-making across APA's customer-facing businesses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards and working with complex datasets, including data modelling and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to work through ambiguity and identify practical solutions
- Experience combining information from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights and support business decisions
- Exposure to commercial, financial, customer, market or performance analysis within a complex business environment
- Naturally curious and proactive, with a track record of independently investigating issues, finding information and improving ways of working
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
