About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Operations Physical Security Team
Deliver the Physical Security Uplift program aligned with SoCI initiatives across APA within budget and allocated board-approved timeframe
Develop and maintain Operations Physical Security business-as-usual processes to maintain compliance with relevant legislation
Deliver physical security uplifts to critical infrastructure assets at or below forecasted budget
Drive program efficiencies within APA and vendors while maintaining compliance with authorities
Provision operational security technology to asset owners and teams
Uplift and maintain access management and physical security standards across APA
Establish BAU/functional security methodologies for ongoing compliance, system monitoring and incident management across operational sites
Create, uplift and maintain governance covering critical and non-critical infrastructure, facilities, and personnel/access requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience managing and delivering end to end physical security projects within large government, defence industry or critical infrastructure entities
Exceptional financial/budget management experience within large scale programs
Strong understanding of current physical security principals and access control systems
Demonstrated experience with security incident management and investigation processes
Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia
