About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and deliver OT programs of work aligned to business outcomes
  • Oversee project planning, resourcing, scheduling and execution
  • Provide technical design, assurance and consultancy services
  • Ensure project delivery on time, on budget and to scope
  • Manage risk and change within critical operational environments
  • Mentor engineers and uplift team capability
  • Strengthen OT standards, governance and continuous improvement
  • Build relationships across internal teams, vendors and regulators
  • Deliver complex projects spanning SCADA, Historian, control systems, networks and cyber security
  • Support safe, reliable and efficient operations across essential energy infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems or Power Engineering
  • RPEQ/RPEV (or equivalent) registration – essential
  • 7+ years’ experience in OT within power, gas, LNG, or utilities sectors
  • Proven success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA (Geo-SCADA or similar), Historians and Control Systems
  • Experience with OT networks, RTUs and industrial communications
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including IEC 62443 and AESCSF
  • Experience with ICCP, DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus and OPC protocols
  • Risk management and Management of Change in live environments
  • Experience with DCS/GMS/EMS/AGC, energy markets (NEM/WEM), or microgrids is a bonus
  • Experience with Maximo, ServiceNow, or project management certifications is a bonus
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia
