About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, investigate issues and translate business needs into Workday reporting and dashboard solutions
Design, develop and maintain finance reports, dashboards and analytics solutions
Manage reporting-related enquiries, defects, enhancement requests and ServiceNow tickets
Lead reporting activities associated with organisational restructures, acquisitions, divestments and other significant business change initiatives
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate manual activities and enhance data visualisation capabilities
Develop documentation, deliver user training and provide ongoing support to finance teams
Participate in testing and sign-off activities for reporting enhancements and system changes
Help shape the future of APA's finance reporting capability within Workday

Requirements

What you’ll need

Workday certification, with strong experience using Workday Query Language (WQL)
Demonstrated experience developing and supporting reporting solutions, dashboards and analytics in Workday
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to identify root causes and design practical solutions to complex business challenges
Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, gather requirements, interpret business needs and translate them into technical reporting outcomes
Experience working with reporting enhancement requests, system issues, testing activities and continuous improvement initiatives within a service-oriented environment
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
High level of attention to detail, accountability and commercial acumen
