About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and presentations using QuickSight, Tableau, or Python libraries
Monitor and analyze incoming sensor and analytics data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential field issues
Use statistical models and machine learning techniques to generate recommendations for hardware reliability and performance improvements
Compare outputs from firmware versions to validate improvements or detect regressions
Collaborate with hardware engineering, product management, data science, and customer support teams
Provide data-driven insights to support customer inquiries about product performance and anomalies
Propose tools, methods, and processes to improve data analysis capabilities and operational efficiency
Collaborate on data pipelines for reliable ingestion, processing, and storage of large-scale field data
Ensure teams have necessary data access and tools for informed decisions
Incorporate field data into future hardware and software features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without current or future employer sponsorship
Candidates currently on F-1, OPT, or STEM OPT status are not eligible
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in data analysis; exposure to hardware-related roles or IoT systems preferred
Proficiency in Python, SQL, MATLAB, or Excel for data analysis and modeling
Experience with visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, Streamlit, or Looker
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and time-series data analysis
Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Kinesis, IoT Core) or similar cloud platforms is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to translate data findings into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
