About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the delivery of Accounting, AP, and Treasury services and act as liaison between the client and other AGS service lines
Manage day-to-day financial operations and serve as subject matter expert for clients’ portfolio financial activities
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, planning and analysis, internal controls, audit, tax, financing, and related transactions
Report to the Director of Accounting
Develop and monitor project plans for monthly and ad-hoc deliverables
Monitor and report on team KPIs
Approve financial reporting issuances
Oversee and coordinate internal and external communication for assigned portfolios
Provide clients with transparency on financial activities, including cash projections, reporting, analytics, and financial support
Analyze financial forecasts and report on operational goals
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, budget-to-actual trends, and variance reports
Conduct weekly L10 meetings with senior team members
Oversee staff and resources, including workload allocation, timesheet review, PTO approval, check-ins, feedback, performance reviews, salary increases, staffing requirements, interviewing, and recruiting
Drive detailed financial analysis, strategic insights, and recommendations on operational and financial initiatives
Recommend and implement processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Possess a BS or MS in Accounting
Background in finance/accounting and knowledge of the healthcare industry
Understand accounting processes and flow of information between systems
Good working knowledge of Excel and data analysis
Ability to manage a team and promote productivity
Communicates proactively, clearly, and timely
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Operate independently; seeks counsel for more complex matters
