About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a member of the Trade Processing team covering trade capture, matching, and settlement of Securities, FX, and Money market instruments
Process global security transactions on the Calypso platform within given deadlines
Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve trade confirmation and settlement queries
Monitor transactions to ensure client instructions are processed timely and accurately for settlement and accounting
Ensure all trades are matched within market/client deadlines
Ensure client positions are correct and all transactions are processed
Resolve queries according to client SLAs
Work with custodians and brokers for timely matching and settlement
Report exceptions in line with internal control and external client requirements
Proactively resolve failed trade queries
Escalate exceptions and failed transactions for early resolution
Document errors and procedure breakdowns according to company policy
Communicate extensively with internal and external parties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Thorough understanding of all Capital market, Financial Instruments, Investment banking processes and above average accounting skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required
Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Capacity to deal with high volumes of activity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to work as team and deliver timely results
Willingness and flexibility to work in any shifts
Post graduate in Commerce, MBA Finance, CA/CMA/CFA
4-9 years of Hedge/Mutual funds Middle Office Trade Support experience
