Key responsibilities & impact

Run the day-to-day operations of new satellite production factory deployments
Own the master schedule across all factories
Build and maintain detailed project schedules from Apex and partner inputs
Stagger project kickoffs to maintain a steady deployment pace
Track partner facility and construction timelines
Trigger actions from Export, Supply Chain, and Production when dates change
Identify schedule conflicts, risks, and dependencies
Keep leadership informed through status updates, options, and recommended resolutions
Run train-the-trainer efforts so deployment teams are ready when factory builds are complete
Manage logistics for deployed teams, including visas, housing, relocation, travel, and daily operational needs
Develop and manage a comprehensive resource plan with HR, Export, and functional leadership
Support program execution through factory standup, build, ramp, steady-state production, and transition to dedicated mission managers and sustainment teams
Work with Production, Supply Chain, Export, HR, Training, partners, and the Sr. Director of Factory Deployment

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in program management, operations, or manufacturing
Proven experience building and owning schedules across multiple projects or sites at once
Experience coordinating across many teams and outside partners without direct authority
Comfortable managing relocation, housing, and travel logistics for people moving between sites
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable briefing internal and external stakeholders at various levels
Comfortable with ambiguity and hands-on work in a fast-growing company
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Experience standing up or scaling a factory, production line, or new site preferred
Experience with international deployments, export controls, or global mobility preferred
Experience with visa and immigration processes alongside HR or legal teams preferred
Experience with training or workforce readiness programs preferred
Background in space, defense, or other regulated industries preferred
PMP or similar certification preferred
Eligibility as a U.S. Person or ability to obtain required U.S. export authorizations
