Accounts Receivable Executive

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance accounts receivable service levels to support Company growth and safeguard revenue
- Process accounts receivable debit and credit notes promptly to the correct GL accounts in Xero
- Monitor credit policies for timely payments and minimize bad debt risks
- Maintain comprehensive billing documentation and records
- Review and rectify invoice errors prior to issuance
- Propose and implement approved billing procedure enhancements
- Prepare and deliver customer bills via email or other channels
- Improve billing processes for increased accuracy and efficiency
- Address customer billing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Prepare weekly reports and reconciliations accurately and on time
- Assist the wider finance department with billing, month-end activities and financial reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Finance background is preferred
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, credit control and finance lingo is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerBI, and Outlook
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking
- Adherence to timelines for invoice processing and auditing
- Comfortable handling and analyzing large datasets
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
