About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ship integrations in two-week sprints and improve the integrations backend
- Plan integrations with product, partnerships, and product marketing managers
- Build the next version of the Apify Slack app with authentication, threaded responses, and Actor approval flows
- Build and maintain plugins connecting Apify to AI agents and assistants
- Help shape the open-source Apify MCP server
- Extend partner apps such as HubSpot, Snowflake, and Pipedream through marketplace review
- Maintain and grow nodes and apps for n8n, Zapier, Make, and other automation platforms
- Support partners embedding Apify into products such as Replit and Lovable
- Ship integration features from OAuth through the user interface
- Run and debug integrations against partner sandboxes
- Resolve partner-side API and review issues
- Own integration roadmaps and partner relationships
- Improve shared systems such as the integrations backend, release process, or test setup
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years building production web applications, with ownership of both backend and frontend
- Strong TypeScript/Node.js, or deep proficiency in another language and willingness to learn TypeScript quickly
- Enough React to build and maintain a product UI independently
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows
- Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work
- English communication sufficient to debug problems with partner engineering teams
- Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, Slack, or similar integration platforms is a plus
- Experience building for AI agents or LLM tooling is a plus
- Experience with third-party marketplace reviews is a plus
- Python is a plus
