About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead requirements analysis with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams
  • Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into solution scope, technical approach, delivery plans, and implementation priorities
  • Own or review effort estimation, delivery planning, resource requirements, and execution timelines
  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints and drive mitigation plans
  • Provide technical leadership in solution design and implementation planning
  • Review and approve design artifacts, workflows, integration approaches, technical specifications, and solution documentation
  • Lead and guide application development, enhancement, configuration, integration, and maintenance activities
  • Review technical deliverables and provide direction to developers and support team members
  • Define and oversee testing strategy, test coverage, quality checkpoints, and defect management
  • Ensure unit, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing are planned and executed
  • Govern application architecture, technical design, security, coding standards, and documentation expectations
  • Coordinate release planning, environment readiness, deployment preparation, implementation, go-live, and post-deployment stabilization
  • Lead production support coordination, incident triage, escalation, service restoration, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Monitor application stability, performance, SLA adherence, operational risks, and recurring issues
  • Manage stakeholder communication, workshops, solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, and operational-readiness reviews
  • Lead, guide, mentor, allocate work to, and develop developers, analysts, and support team members
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, lessons learned, reusable delivery assets, and knowledge-transfer practices
  • Own transition planning and service readiness for applications moving into production support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Programming in MS Visual C# and .NET Framework
  • Programming in RESTful APIs
  • Coding SSRS reports
  • Hands-on Manhattan SCALE WMS production-support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills
  • Microsoft SQL Server querying, coding, and data-analysis capability
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, and hybrid delivery models
  • Ability to lead delivery planning, sprint or milestone tracking, dependency management, issue resolution, and delivery governance
  • Experience establishing or enforcing engineering practices, documentation standards, quality gates, and release-readiness controls
  • Understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, design methodologies, design patterns, and anti-patterns
  • Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, documentation, traceability, and stakeholder validation
  • Knowledge of source control, configuration management, environment management, release governance, and deployment processes
  • Experience coordinating CI/CD, build automation, deployment validation, version control, and rollback planning
  • Understanding of build tools, development frameworks, automation techniques, and quality engineering practices
  • Experience defining test strategy, reviewing test coverage, supporting test automation, and managing defect resolution
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, resources, and operational demands
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, constraints, and execution challenges
