About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a 10+ member team across the software development lifecycle
Produce daily and weekly reports for IT management regarding team assignments and B2Bi service-request status
Assign tasks, assist with roster scheduling, monitor deliverables, provide training, and arrange cross-training
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using IBM ITX Design Studio, Command, Launcher services, and Design Server
Participate in stakeholder discussions and conduct comprehensive requirements analysis
Design, integrate, and implement business logic using secure coding principles
Assist with solution design, development, configuration, and static analysis
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
Assist with test plans and test cases, identify testing stakeholders, and analyze execution results
Write clean, testable code and maintain scripts as requirements or implementations change
Gather and consolidate user feedback for continuous improvement of EDI/API integrations
Prepare technical documentation, including interface descriptions and functional/non-functional details
Document processes and test results for software architecture, application design, and component integration
Train team members on applications and enhancement features
Generate stakeholder reports and participate in internal or external compliance audits
Follow company IT standards, policies, development standards, support procedures, and guidelines
Configure and support Linux integrations, including log analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 10+ years of B2Bi working experience in Axway B2Bi, IBM ITX, API Management and team management
Proven track record managing complex IT projects with business users and internal IT teams
Strong understanding of Axway B2Bi, including flows, mapping services, and partner configurations
Strong understanding of Axway CFT, including catalogs/routes, secure SSH/PGP transfers, and clustering
Strong understanding of Axway Sentinel, including web dashboard, worlds/dictionaries, reports, alerts/metrics, and lifecycle views
Strong understanding of Axway API Management tools
Strong understanding of IBM ITX, including map design, type trees, and adapters
Knowledge of EDI X12/EDIFACT, XML/XSD, JSON, and CSV/flat-file data formats
Linux environment experience, including shell scripting, crontab, permissions, process monitoring, and log monitoring
Supply chain/domain knowledge
Familiarity with ServiceNow monitoring tools
Familiarity with Git, Microsoft Azure, and Jenkins version control/CI/CD tools
Basics of Kafka or other message brokers desirable
Basics of Azure Blob Storage desirable
Python, PowerShell, or advanced Bash scripting for automation desirable
