About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect and analyze metrics and requirements from supported organizations
- Support elements of program acquisition strategies
- Support and conduct portions of market research
- Keep program information current and organize data for management decision-making
- Prepare reports and briefings on program status, policies, and procedures in support of acquisition program milestones
- Support cost/benefit analysis
- Analyze program effectiveness and efficiency and develop recommendations to improve operations
- Answer data calls and inquiries on program policies and procedures
- Participate in requirements development with Senior Managers and Government counterparts
- Coordinate program information with personnel
- Determine requirements and develop goals and objectives to accomplish the program mission
- Support government counterparts to execute programs according to plans
- Modify program policies and procedures based on regulatory changes
- Build executive-level briefings and consolidate official responses to taskers and RFIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
- DAWIA Advanced Equivalency (DAWIA level III equivalent) certification in the Program Management, Engineering, or Test and Evaluation fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or an Associate’s degree plus five additional years of experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD Acquisition Financial Execution
- Knowledge of program planning, scheduling, budget planning/formulation, and cost analysis
- Experience with automated tools
- Working experience in ABSS, DEAMS, MOCAS, and PBAS preferred
- 4+ years DoD experience in one or more of: Military Communications, Signals Intelligence, Information Technology, Sensors, ISR Operations, Sensitive Site Exploitation, or Data management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
- Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System as directed by DoD Instruction 5000.02
- Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Framework process
- Knowledge of business practices and market conditions applicable to program and technical acquisition requirements
- Knowledge of price and cost analysis
- Knowledge of contracting negotiation, administration, and termination principles, policies, procedures, and technical requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex contracting problems
- Knowledge of principles and practices of teambuilding
