About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate technical and programmatic information for the Program Executive Office and facilitate information flow across the organization and external partners
  • Interact with subordinate Program Management Offices to assess technical program status, emerging efforts, and challenges
  • Consolidate technical and programmatic data into status updates and briefings for PEO leadership
  • Analyze cross-program data to identify trends, overlapping interests, and strategic technical opportunities
  • Represent the PEO to the SOF AT&L Science and Technology Directorate and International Operations Branch
  • Coordinate PEO-wide participation in S&T funding data calls and Capability Development Working Group activities
  • Represent PEO equities in engagements with SOF AT&L, HQ USSOCOM, Military Services, and external DoD offices
  • Capture and disseminate emerging concepts, technologies, and strategic guidance
  • Track portfolio-level technical, cost, and schedule risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate technology roadmaps, release cadences, and technical feedback cycles
  • Monitor technical requirements across subordinate PMOs for alignment with PEO objectives
  • Apply advanced tools to document, synthesize, and analyze complex portfolio activities
  • Synthesize complex technical data into actionable intelligence for senior leadership and diverse teams
  • Evaluate PEO-level technical requirements using engineering principles and guidelines
  • Oversee systems engineering acquisition activities, including TEMP, SEP, SAMP, PDR, CDR, MVP, and MVCR milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent) in Program Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
  • 10–12 years DoD acquisition experience
  • 8 years’ experience in Program Management of DoW Acquisition Systems at the Acquisition Category (ACAT) III-level or higher
  • 7+ years’ experience in DoW in Software Development, Information Technology, Data Management, or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning; experience may be concurrent
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite software
  • Master’s Degree in any field (Technical preferred)
