Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior-level civil engineering support for facility architecture and engineering projects
  • Design site, structural, and infrastructure elements supporting NASIC facilities
  • Plan and design civil infrastructure, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities
  • Perform structural assessments and support design of foundations and structural elements
  • Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for civil engineering solutions
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines on integrated facility designs
  • Prepare civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Support construction oversight and technical review activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required in civil engineering or closely related discipline
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in civil engineering or closely related functional area
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in facility and infrastructure civil engineering in DoD or similar environments
