About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior-level engineering support for facility architecture and engineering efforts under A4C
  • Focus on electrical systems supporting NASIC facilities and mission infrastructure
  • Lead design, analysis, and review of electrical systems for new and existing facilities
  • Develop specifications, drawings, and calculations for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and related systems
  • Conduct technical evaluations and trade studies to recommend optimal electrical solutions
  • Support cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and system trade studies for electrical designs
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required in electrical engineering or closely related discipline
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in electrical engineering or closely related functional area
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, with substitution options as defined
  • Significant experience designing and evaluating facility electrical systems, preferably in DoD or similar environments
  • On-site work at Wright Patterson AFB
