About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead RMF activities across the system lifecycle, including categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring
  • Develop and maintain information assurance documentation, including System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and security assessment reports
  • Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and security stakeholders to ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies
  • Assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support accreditation decisions by providing technical and programmatic IA input
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to IA and cybersecurity staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • CISSP or DoD 8140-compliant certification
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related functional area
  • Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, or related field
  • Extensive experience leading RMF and IA activities for DoD or similar systems
