About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, plan, implement, and control the assigned program
  • Establish performance objectives and track progress against cost, technical, and schedule baselines
  • Monitor contract cost, schedule, and performance
  • Coordinate with functional managers and technical leads
  • Prepare and present program status reports and briefings to senior customer personnel
  • Coordinate risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies
  • Lead and mentor project and functional staff supporting program execution
  • Manage NASIC program activities to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met
  • Serve as a primary interface between the Government and contractor for program execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must hold a TS/SCI clearance
  • ITIL or PMI certification required, such as PMP or another PMI program/project management certification
  • Senior Program Manager: minimum ten (10) years of experience in program or project management within DoD or similar environments
  • Senior Program Manager: Master’s degree in a relevant field, with substitution options as defined
  • Journeyman Program Manager: minimum three (3) years of experience in program or project management
  • Journeyman Program Manager: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with substitution options as defined
  • Proven track record managing complex, high-visibility or mission-critical programs
  • On-site position in Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio
