About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide insight and advice on DoD and commercial global enterprise trends and management
Lead discussions with the Program Management Office and Government support contractor on resource use, GFE control and management, development software strategy, Agile product production, and future Cloud deployment opportunities
Maintain development enterprise Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and software inventory
Review upgrades for more capable and reliable systems and best value for government
Design processes and products for faster inventory accomplishment and reduced equipment redundancy
Centralize requests for SMPES program software replacements and renewals
Meet with industry representatives on Cloud strategy and present results to the lead program engineer
Evaluate which portions of program development, deliveries, testing, and infrastructure deployment could be more effective in a cloud environment
Manage classified and unclassified program development deliveries and interfaces with government Configuration Management processing for USSTRATCOM system deployments
Maintain contractually mandated program development and sustainment delivery records
Manage removable media kiosk systems and advise managers on safe media transfers via portable media, DoD SAFE, and CENTRIXS
Represent the directorate at COMSEC information exchange seminars and system training
Meet with industry representatives on future solutions
Process COMSEC equipment purchases through 55th Wing Logistics, ITAC, and NSA
Acquire new requirement assets for system expansion to other sites, focusing on electronic product deliveries to save time and reduce cost

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen
Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed
At least 5 years of experience must be in the DoD
