About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support mission-critical software modernization, development, and deployment efforts for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and USSTRATCOM/J56
- Advance mission planning and execution capabilities for strategic deterrence
- Apply systems engineering, Agile/DevOps practices, and continuous integration/delivery methodologies
- Evaluate and enhance the survivability, interoperability, and reliability of strategic weapon systems
- Contribute to planning documents, test and evaluation strategies, and rapid technology fielding efforts
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, resolve data discrepancies, and manage operational data sets
- Develop custom scripts and tools using Python and SQL to streamline processes and testing workflows
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for specific mission systems
- Lead cross-domain business systems analysis and drive integration across functional and technical domains
- Facilitate end-to-end requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain process flows and data mappings
- Coordinate interface solutions, data exchange protocols, and API integrations with architects and developers
- Resolve issues and conduct impact analysis for cross-domain changes affecting dependent systems
- Deliver integration testing plans
- Collaborate with DoD and government partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 12 years relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years supporting the DoD
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Ability to perform hands-on troubleshooting and resolve data discrepancies
- Ability to manage operational data sets
- Experience with business systems analysis across multiple functional and technical domains
- Experience gathering requirements and facilitating stakeholder workshops
- Experience developing process flows and data mappings
- Experience designing interface solutions, data exchange protocols, and API integrations
- Experience delivering integration testing plans
