About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate test resources and conduct mission events according to government-provided test plans, safety plans, schedules, procedures, and annexes
- Troubleshoot and resolve test resource issues in real time in the field
- Collect, record, and verify data; identify measurement and data uncertainties; provide data analysis recommendations
- Report mission failures, problems, and discrepancies to the Test Conductor
- Provide test and maintenance services supporting mission requirements
- Perform scheduled, unscheduled corrective, and preventative maintenance on test resources and Squadron Issued Equipment
- Resolve and document test resource failures and deficiencies
- Fabricate cables, build and assemble systems, and integrate subsystems
- Perform validation checks to maintain common software baselines
- Inspect, coordinate maintenance for, schedule, and operate mission vehicles
- Clean and service vehicles after mission completion
- Complete AF Form 1800s and report vehicle discrepancies to the COR and Squadron VCO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- High School Diploma
- 4 or more years of relevant experience
- Experience driving large vehicles and towing equipment required
- Experience supporting the Air Force preferred
- Ability to operate support vehicles over 26,000 pounds and/or tow trailers over 10,000 pounds
- Ability to work on-site full-time at Holloman AFB, NM
- Ability to travel up to 50% to CONUS locations
