About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform company and industry due diligence, including risk assessment and quantitative and qualitative analysis of business and market trends
- Monitor existing portfolio companies, including evaluating platform and add-on acquisitions and exit options
- Develop investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members
- Present and participate in investment committee meetings
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis incorporating business projections and capital structures
- Stress test critical assumptions
- Partner with external due diligence advisors, including accountants, tax experts, consultants, lawyers, and operating advisors
- Analyze business performance trends of prospective and existing investments
- Assist with additional ad hoc projects
- Partner with junior and senior professionals across regions and disciplines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Class of 2029) with an excellent academic record
- Demonstrated interest in finance through previous internships and coursework
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Clear oral and written communication
- Ability to collaborate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, organized self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience and comfort in Excel
