About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review audio files and refine transcripts to ensure high-quality data supporting advanced language models
- Transcribe audio recordings into text with high accuracy
- Capture speech exactly as spoken, including pauses, filler words, repetitions, and incomplete sentences
- Add timestamps to match the audio
- Identify and label different speakers in conversations
- Mark non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio
- Ensure high-quality transcription output
- Complete task units according to required quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with spelling conventions in Arabic language
- Can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in Egyptian dialect
- Good reading comprehension skills in English
- Stable internet connection
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to review examples and apply rules to the provided data
- Prior experience with transcription
- Prior experience with audio data
- Access to a PC/laptop or an iPad
