About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent Apple Federal Credit Union to members through remote video access and, when required, in person, by mail, or by telephone
Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service while processing deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, loan payments, checks, and cash
Answer member questions about credit union services, loans, share products, and existing accounts
Balance checks and cash to daily cash received vouchers
Maintain working knowledge of ITM and remote ATM machines
Assist members remotely with interactive teller and remote ATM technology
Verify loan payments, deposits, check amounts, endorsements, and negotiability
Enter transaction and member activity information into computer systems and Synapsys CRM
Contact members regarding deposit accounts, loan applications, and other products as directed
Refer members to appropriate branch staff
Follow Apple FCU products, services, policies, procedures, and Bank Secrecy Act regulations
Identify cross-selling opportunities, offer Potential Sales Opportunities, and make referrals
Perform other member services and clerical duties assigned by the ITM Branch Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 12 months financial institution or cash handling experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Excellent interpersonal and member/customer service skills
Ability to project a friendly, positive attitude through video, including positive facial expressions and posture
Ability to multi-task
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to perform the role of an ITM and teller
Ability to learn and cross-sell credit union products and services
Excellent math ability and attention to detail
Ability to work in a remote teller environment and present oneself professionally through video
Proficient in Symitar for posting teller transactions and inquiries on deposit and loan accounts
Proficient in Synapsys CRM, including acting on PSOs, creating and inputting events, and retrieving and reading My Sales reports
PC proficient
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to use standard office equipment
Must complete required Interactive Teller and branch training
Subject to credit and background checks to determine employment eligibility
