Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end functional architecture and multi-year roadmap for Opportunity-to-Order BOM and Configure/Engineer-to-Order across SAP CRM, ECC, S/4HANA, and adjacent platforms
Translate business requirements into scalable functional solution designs with a clean-core S/4HANA mindset
Define architecture principles, design standards, and governance; serve as design authority for configuration, order management, pricing, and billing changes
Lead fit-gap analysis, solution options analysis, and business-case development for transformation initiatives
Architect complex variant configuration models and Sales Order BOM processes for configurable products
Lead configuration knowledge-base strategy across CRM and ERP
Drive SAP AVC and/or SSC adoption as part of the S/4HANA roadmap
Architect opportunity, quotation, sales order, contract, change-order, pricing, customer-specials, ETO, and CTO solutions
Integrate configuration and order processes with PLM, engineering change management, supply chain, project systems, and service
Architect BRIM solutions for subscriptions, usage-based, and outcome-based commercial models
Provide functional leadership for large global SAP deployments from strategy and blueprinting through hypercare
Contribute to IT project management, application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, standards, governance, and controls
Manage SOX controls/testing and support internal and external audits as applicable
Partner with program management, system integrators, and vendors
Manage portfolio priorities, budgets, resource plans, and business-value reporting
Lead, develop, and inspire a global team of solution architects, functional leads, and analysts
Advise senior business leaders and drive cross-organizational change
Foster innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of SAP experience in Sales & Distribution / Order-to-Cash and complex product configuration
8+ years in senior solution architecture and people leadership roles
Deep hands-on expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC), including modeling, object dependencies, variant tables/functions, configuration profiles, variant pricing, and multi-level configuration
Experience creating and managing Sales Order BOMs and order-specific BOM processes for complex configurable products
Strong functional experience with SAP CRM and SAP ECC, including SD, VC, pricing, and integration with PP/MM/PS/FI
Experience designing Engineer-to-Order and/or Configure-to-Order solutions
Experience with customer specials, non-standard configurations, and complex pricing scenarios
Track record leading large, global SAP deployments in multiple leadership roles
Experience with SAP BRIM or comparable subscription/usage-based billing solutions
Ability to simplify complexity and communicate with executives, business users, and technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
Preferred: SAP AVC and/or SSC, SAP S/4HANA, high-tech or industrial machinery solutions, semiconductor/capital equipment experience, VC-to-AVC or CRM-to-S/4HANA migrations, PLM integration, Master's degree/MBA, SAP certifications
