About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain customer relationships with relevant individuals at all levels in the district
- Manage, coach, and direct all customer engineers in the district
- Handle salary planning, career planning, corrective actions, objectives, and performance appraisals
- Provide formal employee updates on business, new hires, and new products
- Initiate business reports and interface with Product Divisions on technical support, training, spares, and reliability
- Monitor the CSD Award Program and mentor program
- Execute escalation procedures
- Plan accounts with the District Sales Engineer and provide system sales support plans
- Prepare financial forecasts and manage district cost efficiency
- Manage system installation planning, reporting, execution, and fab ramp planning
- Manage RMA procedures and customer engineer hours tracking
Requirements
What you’ll need- Management experience directing, coaching, and developing customer engineers
- Ability to manage customer relationships and conduct regular customer visits
- Ability to prepare business reports and financial forecasts
- Knowledge of system installation planning, reporting, and execution
- Knowledge of RMA procedures and customer engineer effectiveness measurement
- Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance requirements
- Ability to conduct presentations of technical information
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time
