About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments for multiple products
  • Characterize hardware and complex systems using defined techniques, methods, and new technologies
  • Generate internal and external product documentation, presentations, technical reports, and process engineering specifications
  • Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects within safety guidelines
  • Train engineers in film-property measurement techniques and guide interpretation, methodology, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Engage with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues with limited supervision
  • Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation
  • Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers
  • Lead functional teams or projects as needed
  • Drive productivity improvements in tool performance, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency
  • Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for process, hardware, and defect-related issues
  • Support customer escalations with technical analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution plans
  • Develop and optimize process recipes to improve yield, defectivity, and operational performance
  • Execute qualification activities for new hardware, software, and process changes while ensuring customer-requirement compliance
  • Collaborate with R&D teams on semiconductor and display technology research and development projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 7–10 years of related experience
  • Conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving
  • Ability to drive productivity improvement initiatives
  • Ability to lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution plans for customer escalations
  • Ability to develop and optimize process recipes
  • Ability to execute qualification activities for new hardware, software, and process changes
  • Ability to work within safety guidelines
  • Travel up to 10% of the time
